Here's how it works
Asanas menu button: More than 50 asanas in alphabetical order, along with brilliant photos and detailed descriptions of the effects and alignment of the asanas.
What you see: Photos and descriptions of versions for beginners and advanced students, step by step directions, and variations of the asanas.
Category menu button: Asanas sorted into groups according to the alignment of the spine (i.e. back bends)
Search menu button: Find asanas by the Sanskrit name or the translation, partial name or a particular body part.
Each of these search methods will take you to the asana you want. By clicking on the list of photos, you arrive at the asana page. A movie automatically starts and explains each asana with three to five detailed photos; the button at the bottom-right portion of the screen can pause and continue the movie at any time. Descriptions follow regarding the effect and precise alignment of the asana, and for added convenience there are illustrated versions for beginners and advanced students, along with step-by-step directions and variations of the asanas. In this way everyone, whether beginner or advanced, can understand and practice the asana in all its dimensions.
Flow menu button: 13 animated exercise sequences of different lengths and with different focuses to study on your own.
By clicking on the list of photos you arrive at the respective flow. A movie automatically starts and leads you through the sequence of exercises; the button at bottom right can pause and continue the movie at any time. Read the introductory text about the effects of the flow and memorize the exercise sequence. Then just practice both sides in your breathing rhythm, as many times as you want.
A list follows of all the asanas included in the flow. Simply click on the list of photos to get a detailed asana page, which provides a deeper explanation of the asana youíve selected. To return to the flow, touch "Flow" in the upper-left portion of the screen.
