Great app with one request
This is a unique and wonderful app. Makes it easy to build personal flows. A lot cheaper than yoga classes that I cannot afford but personalized and engaging. One request PLEASE. I wish there was some audible indicator other than the Sanskrit name to tell you when a position changes. Like a chime or something. The Sanskrit names get irritating but without them I have to keep looking at the screen again and again. Having the option to pick the audible English name, Sanskrit name, or chime sounds would be ideal, but adding just the chime would make such a positive difference.

Hi, The app is very well done and easy to use. I have one thing to suggest as an improvement, and that is to include the image of the poses in a sequence when we send it by email or to be printed. The reason is simple. The naming of posture is inconsistent from one style to another. For instance, your chatturanga dandasana equals asthangasana in the style that I practice and teach in or asthangapranamasana in another style. So by using the names only, you make it hard on us to recall the sequence. An image is worth a thousand words… Thank you Daniel

Has potential
Great for learning Sanskrit names for yoga poses. Not very user friendly for modifying flows. It won't let me delete or modify yoga flows that I already created. When I first got the app, I was playing around with it to figure out how it works and created an empty flow. I can't delete it or add poses to it and if I accidentally click on it the app crashes. Also, the link the app support is not valid. So I can't even contact the developer to ask how to fix the glitch. Frustrating because this app has potential.

Interesting meals
No boring dishes - thankfully. Recipes are healthy and can easily be made. Love the photos of ingredients before you start with a recipe. Healthy, vegetarian foods with step by step instructions.

Really is a great book for beginners!
Like the previous reviewer I too have gotten some no good Yoga how to books. This is the first one I have read that has actually shown me how to do Yoga and actually has motivated me to start. I love it! Your'e never left guessing if you are doing it right. This book is very easy to understand and has great illustrations. If you are curious or thinking about starting Yoga but don't want to pay for classes or want to do it in the privacy of your own home-this is the book for you. I practice Yoga everyday now and I am getting better and better. :0) This ebook is worth every penny and money well spent.

A Serious Cookbook for Vegetarian Chefs
I tend to lean toward a preference for simple vegetarian American comfort food recipes. But every vegetarian needs at least one fancy cookbook on hand for those times you're feeling adventurous or want to impress friends or relatives. "Go Veggie!" fits that bill perfectly! This is a huge vegetarian cookbook with 100 recipes divided into four main categories: Mediterranean, Oriental, Asian and Nordic. It also has a terrific "Basics" section with instructions for making such vegetarian cooking staples as vegetable broth, tomato sauce,vegan mayo, vegetarian cream sauce, pesto verde, and hummus, plus guidance for cooking all kinds of beans to perfection. The formatting for Kindle is very interesting - well laid out, great use of pictures... But, at least on my Kindle Touch, the font had to be set at the largest setting to make it at all legible. That's fine, I can use that setting, it just seems an odd choice on the publisher's part... But still definitely worth having in your kitchen library!

After several "unhappy" purchases of "illustrated" yoga books, this is first on which has steps by steps in photos! :) Yoga is 99% practice, 1% theory, so this book consist of the 99% illustrations and 1% of the text ... and other books seems have 99% of blah blah Also all images are visible on first gen of kindle. This is big plus! So, 5 starts for this only! Cons: has some repetitions of the contents, but considering sections it is acceptable and OK, because some poses are repeating in different sections.

Heerlijke app
Strak vormgegeven (telt, zeker ook voor de iphone5) en mooie recepten, uitleg en vooral duidelijke basisrecepten van bijv. sauzen (mayonaise), frites of vlees/vogel welke op Google al snel 10 verschillende resultaten oplevert. Goede app, hier houd ik van! Alleen jammer van het app tekentje zelf. Doet af aan de kwaliteit. Lijkt nu een soort science schietspelletje.. Kan je daar niet een mooi strak symbool van maken?

Good start, needs more features
This is exactly what I was looking for! You can create your own order of poses, change the length, and add music. However, I'd like to see a few features added to make this program more useful and practical. The poses are only announced in the playback screen in their foreign name, and I'd like to have the option to hear the English name (I don't know the other names and have to pause to look at the screen any way, so that feature is useless to me). Also, the music stops playing if you have the feature on to announce the poses, and it doesn't come back on. I wish the pose announcements could just play over the music without disrupting the music. Maybe the music could dim a bit like when you're listening to music and you get a message alert noise? I'd also like the option to turn on directions, where an instructor tells you a few tips on how to get into that pose and some reminders on form. Also, you can't fast forward or rewind the slideshow once it starts playing, you can only pause. Wish it was like a video where you could ff and rw. I'd like these options because I'd love to be able to hook up some Bluetooth headphones and be able to hear my music, pose changes in English, and some instructions so I can do my routine without having to look at a screen. Eventually, as I learn the poses better, then I can turn off the pose reminders and just have my music and pose names. But I love that you can customize the routine. Add these features, and it'll be like creating your very own personal yoga video!

One of the best yoga apps!
Lots of poses and variations. Searchable by Sanskrit and English names. Easy to program. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because it doesn't stop my iPhone from "sleeping" but I just deactivated the automatic lock and it was perfect. Well worth the $5 but it may be difficult to understand and follow the asana call if a person isn't familiar with the Sanskrit names of the asanas.

Since purchasing this app back in October 2010 I have yet to regret buying it, and this update has made a great app, outstanding!! The completely redesigned layout is fantastic: the chapters are now displayed in a carousel layout -- it's like flipping through a Rolodex, which is a great touch!! Also recipes can now be saved in a Favorites folder (and they're saved in alphabetical order), the photos are even more appetitizing and eye-popping, and a pinch out expands the photos while a tap, hit the Done button, takes them back to the original size! Unless I'm missing something, the "Voice Over" screen reader is not available in the iPhone version but that's no reason not to purchase this app!! The Cooks Encyclopedia was well worth the price two years ago and it STILL is!!! I HIGHLY recommend purchasing this app!!!!! Original October 14, 2010 Review: I was a bit leery about buying this app because of the price but I took a chance and I'm very glad I did!! This app is amazing -- there's a "ton" of recipes (21 chapters) and an A to Z glossary. This app is literally a step-by-step cookbook with pictures at each step!! I'd add two things: a "Favorites" option and a "Menu Planner". Currently, you can't save any recipes in a favorites file nor can you save specific recipes to a menu planner if you're putting together a dinner party, a holiday meal or a child's birthday party but don't let that stop you from purchasing this app! I've never spent so much on an app but for this one, I'd spend the 9.99 again (no hesitation)!!

I have EVERY BApps iPhone app -- this one is another winner!!! I've been waiting for this version (iPhone and in English) and it's DEFINITELY worth the wait!!! There's a great range of recipes from super simple to rather more complex, the glossary is really helpful and newly added, SAVE TO FAVORITES!!! I also like the format change in that the details sweep right to left instead of having to move it up...5 STARS BApps!!!!! Keep 'em coming!!!!

Lovely app with great photos
A lovely app with great how-to photos. Lots of recipes and the glossary is good. Developers are very responsive to suggestions and with suggestions from users this format can only get better. Worth the price for the how-to photos alone.

I was nervous about paying 12.99 for this app and rightly so, it is ok I gave it three stars but its not great, there are five recipes for scrambled eggs really five. My advice is look at some of the better free apps recipe grazer springs to mind but there are lots of good ones that won't break the bank

Een zonder meer zeer complete kook app zowel voor iPhone als iPad die tijdelijk? in de bonus is. Op de iPad komt de hele layout van de app beter uit dan op de iPhone. Lijkt geen retina (640 X 960) ondersteuning te hebben en ondanks de moeite die gedaan is om alle stappen te fotograferen valt dit op de iPhone 4 dus tegen. Om fototechnisch reden soms foto's af te beelden met dampende pannen vind ik zelf niet verstandig omdat daardoor e.e.a. wazig overkomt en het gerecht ook minder goed uitkomt is en dit invloed heeft op de kookbelevenis. Bij Kochen is er bij sommige recepten ook tekst die niet goed is weergegeven. Gewoon slordig. Wel heel veel keuze uit zonder meer goed beschreven en heerlijke recepten maar al met al beoordeel ik de Fotokookboek apps toch als geslaagder. De layout daarvan komt gewoon doordachter en ook zeker moderner over.

Enjoyable yoga app
Awesome foto setting - finally away from the sticky & stinky training room atmosphere. Great landscape shots which are a relaxing factor by themselves; Very nice aesthetic presentation. Sanskrit terms alongside english provide a learning effect just by the way. Yoga2go has been a worthwhile acquisition for me.

I like this app a lot
This is a very interesting and useful app. The recipes are unusual in some cases (the developer is from Europe) and the step-by-step photos are extremely helpful. Even though I am an experienced cook and baker, it's so helpful when making something for the first time to see how it is supposed to look at each stage. The glossary is not always as helpful as I would like (e.g. some entries are pictures only with no explanation) and that is why I rated it four stars. The developer is very responsive to inquiries. Be aware that in the bread recipes, he means fresh cake yeast even though the recipe says active dry yeast. Everything I have made has turned out wonderfully.

- mooie foto's - prima bereiding (duidelijk/logisch - wacht met smart op paar extra recepten (bijv garnalen op 3 of 4 wijzes ipv 1) - recepten zijn zeer authentiek Tip: toevoegen van echte 'grootmoeders' tips, zoals rozijnen in bolognaise om zuur met zoet te balanceren Wel een paar spelfoutjes. Maar daar wordt aan gewerkt. Snel en prettig contact via mail met maker.

43 beautiful recipes
Really beautiful recipes that are tasty. But the developer needs to be clear up front that there are only 43 recipes. And the risotto Milanese recipe strays from the true version that uses beef marrow as a flavor.

Practico yoga hace 1 ańo
Me la recomendó mi profesora de yoga en Alemania para mis viajes por tener todos las asanas muy detalladas y estar muy bien estructurada. Muy buena para principiantes y para seguir haciendo yoga en viajes. Estoy muy contenta de que por fin se haya traducido al espaÅ„ol. Totalmente recomendable.
