By clicking on the list of photos, you can go to the recipe page. A slide show can be started, be paused and resumed at any time by using the button at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Each recipe is illustrated step by step, using a series of three to five photos. Further down on the ingredients list, the step-by-step photos appear again with detailed descriptions. Simply follow the directions, and you'll succeed with your recipe.
The Option (...) button is only active when you are visiting a recipe. It provides the following options: - Add the recipe to the shopping list (iPhone) or favorites list (iPad). - Send the recipe as mail to print from your desktop. - Give a feedback to the App Developers (us). - Show a tip (not in all recipes).
Explanatory notes to the ingredients

A teaspoon equals 5 ml; a tablespoon equals 15 ml. If milk is called for and nothing else is specified, use whole milk. The amounts specified for potatoes, vegetables, and eggs refer to medium sizes. Pepper always means freshly ground pepper.
The times given are an approximate guide only. Preparation times differ according to the techniques used by different people and the cooking times may also vary from those given as a result of the type of oven used. Optional ingredients, variations or serving suggestions have not been included in the calculations.
Recipes using raw or very lightly cooked eggs should be avoided by infants, the elderly, pregnant women, convalescents, and anyone with a chronic condition. Pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to avoid eating peanuts and peanut products. Sufferers from nut allergies should be aware that some of the ready-prepared ingredients used in the recipes in this book may contain nuts. Always check the packaging before use.
